I am always interested in urban architectural projects such as this new concept for an old aqueduct from 1894 running through Zurich´s former industrial quarter. The historic, 500 meter long relic, north-west of the city´s main train station, was transformed into a versatile, transparent and permeable element, connecting those city parts and neighborhoods that it visually segregates. New shops, cafés, restaurants, markets, and event spaces inhabit the vaults underneath the old structure, fusing the old with the new very respectfully and aesthetically.
