Just a quick heads up that I won´t be around much to post regularly for the next couple of weeks. All of my final presentations are coming up and things always get kinda crazy around architecture students during this time. All hell breaks loose as soon as we are reminded that we only have two to three weeks left. No matter how hard or long we have worked on the projects, time always get´s tight (non existent) when it all comes down to the final couple of weeks and we realize that we haven´t gotten as much done as we had hoped and imagined. It.Is.Always.The.Same. So Weird. I just hope that with the upcoming all-nighters none of us get injured during modeling our projects (always popular is to sleepily hold one´s finger tips a lil´ bit too far towards that sanding disc - not so pleasant)(or forgetting which way it turned, sending pieces of wood flying through space - not so nice either). In the end though, when all of us gather and hang up our final plans and prop up our models on the precisely fitted pedestal and we take a closer look at one another, we all look so devastatingly tired and exhausted that even the Profs smile at us asking wether we at least squeezed in full 2 hours of sleep - crazy times!
But I am not quite there yet this semester, but an architecture student has got to do what an architecture student has got to do! I am sure you can relate on some level. Just sayin´ - you won´t be able to expect many and regular blog posts and updates on here the next few weeks! For now I am enjoying a David Rio Tiger Spice Chai Tea Latte and getting to work on my Tea Plantation in Munnar, India, as well as the hotel/spa/mountain-hut project in Maggia, Switzerland!
